My good friend / first love Mat Cothran of Coma Cinema has just released the final installment in the bleak trilogy of collections under the name Elvis Depressedly. Saunter over to his Bandcamp now and pay what you will for this his other two incredible releases, Mat is one of the most talented people that I have the honour of associating myself with and this isn’t stuff that you should pass up.

When I began releasing records under the name Elvis Depressedly it was a way to experiment in my new house in Columbia, SC…It was a way to get out ideas I didn’t know how to flesh out entirely but still wanted to express.  Here are the last of these songs.  I am happy to put this stupid fucking moniker to rest, and all the that goes with it.

My life is a mess, and so is everyone else’s.  We’re are heading for the end.  Whether it be Christ who comes back to smite us or just the passing of time we will all see our undoing soon enough.  I’ve been in the hospital.  I’ve been cracking up for a while now.

If you hear from me again it will be regarding a new (and final) Coma Cinema record.  Until then I thank you for your ears and your love, and wish you luck in this desolate, abandoned world.
